The laboratory of Dr. Avram Holmes in the Yale Department of Psychology (holmeslab.yale.edu) is seeking qualified, highly motivated applicants for a full-time lab manager/research coordinator position to begin summer 2017.
Our research focuses on the establishment of biological and environmental predictors of psychiatric illness risk. Duties include, but are not limited to, subject recruitment, data acquisition using behavioral and neuroimaging techniques (MRI), data entry, coding, database management, some analyses, overseeing subject reimbursements, and lab management (e.g., IRB submissions/reviews, ordering equipment and supplies, scheduling meeting, website maintenance). This position will offer exposure to diverse subject populations in a lab that employs genetic, systems neuroscience, and clinical techniques. The work entailed requires a high degree of motivation and self-sufficiency, although extensive training and supervision will be provided.
